Concentrated Corrosion Inhibitor
Description:
ECOIL-9691 is a naphthenic imidazoline.
Applications:
ECOIL-9691 is recommended for use in corrosion control in refinery surface systems that are predominantly hydrocarbon. This product can be safely used in any refinery operating unit, but is particularly suitable for crude oil units.
ECOIL-9691 can also be formulated into production chemical corrosion formulations. It is effective in sour systems and has a very high thermal stability.
Dose:
For crude units, ECOIL-9691 must be fed to a hydrocarbon slipstream and injected into the horizontal section of the steam line at a dose of 6 to 12 ppm of product. If possible, the inhibitor should be atomized.
For formulated corrosion inhibitors, ECOIL-9691 can be used in oil soluble formulations.
