Description:
ECOIL-CAP is a concentrated quaternary alkyl pyridine.
Applications:
ECOIL-CAP is a concentrated corrosion inhibitor used to formulate water-soluble or oil-soluble / dispersible corrosion inhibitors to produce oil and gas fields and water injection systems. Alkylpyridine Field strength quaternary products are especially good in acidic environments created by the production of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.
ECOIL-CAP can also be used as a concentrate to formulate acidic corrosion inhibitors and strippers.
Dose:
Typically, formulations will include ECOIL-CAP mixed with a small amount of non-ionic surfactant mixed in water and/or methanol. The field strength product is typically injected at a rate of 10-50 ppm of active material.
