Description:
ECOIL-5851 is a concentrated quaternary alkyl pyridine with a quaternary ethosulfate compound.
Applications:
ECOIL-5851 is a corrosion inhibitor concentrate that is used to formulate water-soluble or oil-soluble / dispersible corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas production fields and water injection systems.
ECOIL-5851 has been found to outperform traditional quaternary alkyl pyridine formulations, especially in terms of pitting prevention.
ECOIL-5851 is especially good in acidic environments created by the production of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.
Dose:
Typically, formulations will include ECOIL-5851 mixed with a small amount of non-ionic surfactant mixed in water and/or methanol. The field strength product is typically injected at a rate of 10-50 ppm of active material. Batch applications would depend on the parameters in the field.
