Corrosion Inhibitor
Description:
ECOIL-047 is a derivative of alkyl pyridine compounds.
Applications:
ECOIL-047 is used as an intermediate base for corrosion inhibitor formulations in the oil field.
It could be used in acidification, pipelines, refineries and water, oil and gas collection and delivery systems in three phases.
It is also a base raw material for making alkyl pyridine quaternaries for acid gas treatment.
As an additive, it can be made dispersible in water by salting it with acids such as acetic acid.
Dose:
As an additive for corrosion inhibitor formulations, concentrations generally range from 1% to 20% depending on the application.
